Welcome to the Johnsonville Softball Club. 

At this site you can find information about Johnsonville senior men's and women's teams, and also the junior side of the club.

If you would like to play softball, feel free to contact anyone of the committee members, noted on the ‘Contact Details’ link to the left.

20/09/09:  Off Season – Junior New Zealand Representatives:

In July, four of our future stars attended the Friendship Series in Sydney Australia. 

Jessica, Courtenay and Jardine were selected in the 30-player Junior White Sox squad, competing for selection in the Junior White Sox team, which will be named later this year.  If selected, the girls will represent New Zealand at the 2011 World Series in South Africa.   

All three girls played in the NZ White team who finished in 6th position.  The NZ Red team finished in 7th place. 

Josh was again selected for the Junior Boys Development squad, furthering his quest to make the Junior Black Sox squad selection later this year.  The World Series for the boys will be held in 2012 in either Canada …. or Nelson.

The boys finished a credible 3rd place, beating their Australian counterparts in all three encounters.

Finally, Brooke has been invited to the White Sox training camp to be held in September – Congratulations Brooke!     Return to the top of this page.

20/09/09:  Pre-Season Training, now underway. All players, all grades are welcome to attend.

  • Raroa Intermediate – every Sunday.

29/04/08:  Conceding four runs in the first inning cost the White Sox Development team hopes of winning the Southern Cross softball tournament in Brisbane.
